Hair Extension Length Guide
Not sure which length to choose? Here’s a rough guide to where each length will sit when fitted. Remember, the final result will vary depending on your height, natural hair length and where your extensions are placed.
16" – Natural Length
A subtle length that generally falls around the upper chest/bust area. Perfect for adding volume and a little extra length.
18" – Classic Length
Usually falls around the bust to mid-chest, giving a natural but noticeably longer look.
20" – Long Length
Generally falls around the mid to lower back and is a popular choice for a longer, glamorous finish.
22" – Extra Long
Usually reaches around the lower back, creating a noticeably long and luxurious look.
24" – Very Long
Generally falls around the waist, perfect for a dramatic, glamorous finish.
26" – Ultra Long
Falls below the waist on most people and creates a striking, extra-long look.
28" – Super Long
Our longest length, designed for a statement, ultra-glamorous finish, typically falling well below the waist.
Please note: These are approximate guidelines. Your finished length will depend on your height, body proportions, natural hair length, extension placement and hair texture. Wavy or curly hair will also appear shorter than the stated length when worn in its natural texture. Remember that 22" on someone who is 5"2 will look much shorter on someone who is 5"9.
How to Check Where Your Extensions Will Sit
To see where your chosen extension length will fall on your hair:
- Take a tape measure or ruler and start at the point on your head where your extensions will be fitted — usually around the middle/back of your head, rather than the very top.
- Hold the tape measure straight down your hair, following the length of your body.
- Measure to your desired length and see where the measurement finishes.
- Compare this measurement with the extension length you're considering, for example, 20", 22", 24" or 26".
Tip: If you're unsure, ask someone to help measure from the placement point on the back of your head. This will give you a much more accurate idea of where the extensions will finish.
